Mother of the Nation describes what it means to be a Mother of a Family and also of a Country, with grace and values, responsibility and guidance.
The show commissioned by the Crown Prince Court is a tribute to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbithat in each scene traces a journey of light embodied in different shapes, that illuminates the characters of the show and guides generations of women and men towards a blossoming final. Whereas The Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyanis represented by a guiding star who shines supporting her light.
At the end of the performance a big surprise: the highest show of the world starts! A live broadcasting connection with Downtown Dubai for an amazing performance of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest artificial structure in the world, standing at 829.8 m, it has turned on the lights and the majestic fountains dance to the tune of Song of Gratitude – a soundtrack specially composed by Mohamed Al Ahmed. As the music swells the lights blossom into a colourful garden, which consists of realistic and abstract images of flowers, kaleidoscopic effects and arabesques symbols as well as reproductions of the rose windows of the Grand Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
It was a great honour for BWS to be chosen to celebrate “Mother of the Nation” and a pleasure to get to know this region and its rapid development in which we strongly believe.
